Gates of Jerusalem Mezuzah

In researching the old city of Jerusalem, I discovered that there were eleven original gates to enter the old city but only seven of those gates are open today. The gate on this Jerusalem mezuzah represents all the gates. The mezuzah would be the perfect gift for a bar or bat mitzvah or anyone who holds the city of Jerusalem in their hearts.
The image of the gates of Jerusalem has been sandblasted on the stained glass and then fire polished in the kiln. A second layer has been added and then the mezuzah cover is adhered to the plexiglass base.
The mezuzah case comes with nails and a printed scroll or klaf, ready to be placed on the doorpost of a Jewish home. The scroll contains the words of two passages from Deuteronomy, 11:13 and 6:4-9. Deuteronomy 6:4-9 has the words of the "Shema Israel" in which God commands Jews to keep God's words constantly in their minds and in their hearts.
