Celebrating the festival of lights with this hand crafted Menorah by the Israeli artist Shraga Landesman will bring joy to your Chanukah festivities. Nestled into the center of the base of the menorah is a uniquely designed dreidel engraved with four symbols, signifying the Hebrew letters - Nun, Gimmel, Heh and Shin. These letters represent the saying "Nes Gadol Hayah Sham", a great miracle happened there, echoing the miracle of the oil burning for 8 days when there had only been enough for one day. To further enhance the beauty and meaning of this menorah the artist hand carved the Hebrew words “Shalom AL Israel” - directly translated as “Peace On Israel”. The true essence of this saying is – A Protected Complete Peace On Israel. With this work of art the artist Shraga gives us a gift – enabling us to celebrate the victory of the Maccabees and the rededication of the Temple while each night hoping that the warm flickering glow of the candles will carry our hearts desire for Israel’s protection and lasting peace.
